Snake Socks
Pattern: Mock Wave Cable Socks from Favorite Socks
Yarn: Artyarns Ultramerino 8
Thoughts: Not necessarily the best match of yarn and pattern. Though I really like this yarn for socks and I enjoyed the pattern I don’t think the two really compliment each other. Nonetheless I am happy with the finished socks.
Why “Snake Socks”? Lou named them that because without feet in them they look like this:
Eeew snake skin!
I thought that was really appropriate because I knit these socks while I re-read the last few Harry Potter books in preparation for the release of book 7 this summer! Slytherin Socks!
