Lace-Leaf Pullover
This is not really finished… I know it looks finished and it is in the “finished projects” section but it’s all a lie. I completed all the knitting on this sweater back in April but I still haven’t blocked it! That’s why it looks sort of weird in this picture… I will block it eventually, but it is a really warm sweater and I probably won’t be able to wear it until January or Febuary so that’s probably when it will get blocked. Very silly.

Pattern: Lace-Leaf Pullover by Teva Durham
Yarn: Lamb’s Pride Bulky in “Kiwi”
Time Taken: About one month to knit, 5+ months for blocking.
Modifications: I knit this in a completely different yarn and gauge from the pattern because I wanted a more close fitting sweater.
Comments: I am still undecided as to whether this sweater counts as a success or not. It is much too hot to wear so far and it sheds mohair everywhere. After completing this sweater I swore never to use anything with mohair again…
But it’s so pretty! I am obsessed with this color.
