Good News and Bad News

The bad news is:

I’ve run out of yarn for my Bianca Jacket with 5 rows to go!

There is no more of this color at my LYS so I am going to have to order it! Aargh!

The good news is:

I de-stashed my horrible pooling yarn and found a new solid color yarn to knit this sweater with. The yarn is Cascade Dolce and it is an alpaca/wool/silk blend. It’s really soft and I love the color (it is a little deeper and less yellow in real life).

Anyone got a partial skein of AllHemp06 in Periwinkle they don’t need?

oh no! what a bummer. it looks gorgeous in it’s nearly-completed state though!

You could try ripping back the other sleeve and making each a few rows shorter. That might work well.

Oh no! I hate running out of yarn. I’m working on a scarf worked lengthwise right now, and I’m almost certain that I’m going to need some more! It’s Sea Silk, so I don’t know that I can afford to buy another skein, but I don’t want to have to frog it either! And since it’s supposed to have three points at each end, I think it would look funny with two and a partial point. :(

I really like your Bianca Jacket! I didn’t care for it much in IK, but yours is so pretty! I hope you can get the extra yarn without too much trouble.

I agree with the others — the jacket is looking fabulous! Sorry you’ve run out of yarn.
