Shiny New Sweater Project

As soon as I finished the yoke of my Bianca Jacket (seaming and buttons sometime this week hopefully) I cast-on for a new sweater project:

Tie-Back Pullover from the fall Knit Simple in Malabrigo Worsted.

Lou says the colors remind him of the 70s and fall but they remind me of lions and tigers so I am calling this my Safari Sweater.

Nothing like a new project to turn that “Ugh” into a “Booyah!”

I *like* those colors! It looks like a perfect autumn project.

I’m all for 70’s colors! Olive green, rust red, pumpkin orange…just like my childhood kitchen. :)

Ooo, squishy soft! That’ll be lovely!

Sorry about your broken needle – and other – woes you mention in your last post. All your projects look great, even if they’re giving you trouble.

How about another contest? Since you have a million socks and only two feet, how about a contest for the best alternate use of a sock?
    Ipod holder
    longneck beer jacket
    dog toy
    puppet
    juju bag
    doll sleeping bag

    The prize????? What else…..
