The future of the Knit Pligg (and bonus Sockapalooza Socks)
I love the knit pligg.
I didn’t realize how much until Lou (bf, bff, blog-maker) offered to add a “submit to pligg” button to my posting page, so that I could submit to my blog and to the pligg in one easy step.
As I explained to him that, no that won’t be neccessary as Sockapalooza is nearly over and then we won’t be using the pligg anymore…well, I felt quite sad.
I have really enjoyed trolling the pligg. It is such a great way to find new blogs (that I would never find otherwise!), get sock ideas and patterns and just see all the fancy socks people are making!
I was wondering how many other people are interested in continuing to share their socks on the pligg once Sockapalooza is over?
Please say you will!!!
Speaking of sharing socks via the pligg…
here are my finished Sockapalooza Socks.
Pattern: Charade by Sandra Park. I am completely head over heels in love with this sock pattern. As soon as my sockpal socks were off the needles I started missing it so I had to start another pair of socks in the same pattern! A first for me!
Yarn: Artyarns Ultramerino
Thoughts: I loved making these socks!!! I will definitely participate in Sockapalooza next year because I had a blast picking yarn and finding a pattern based on my pal’s preferences (it did take a couple tries though -> remember my disastrous first attempt?). In the end I was really pleased with the socks. I hope they fit my pal!
The only problem I had with these socks was that they proved exceedingly difficult to photograph! None of these pictures show the true colors of the socks (last pic is closest) which are actually quite pretty in real life and have more pink and greeny goodness and no icky gray.
Lucky these socks aren’t for me cuz they sure don’t fit! I hope my pal gets them soon and that they fit her when they arrive!

I was also wondering about the future of the pligg, as it has been a great place to things I may not have found otherwise. I’d be interested in sticking with it!
The socks are lovely! I’ll have to try the Charade pattern.
They are absolutely gorgeous in person, and they fit great. And yes, I do have huge feet.
Thank you so much for the stunning socks and a great Sockapalooooza!
