Another Sock Post
(this time with an FO!)
The crazy sock mojo shows no sign of waning. I have knit nothing but socks since my last post.
I am using the same Rabbit Ridge yarn for these socks that I did for my RPM Socks. Since my RPM socks grew quite a bit once I wore them I thought I would counteract any growth in these by doing a cable pattern.
It would appear though that I overcompensated a bit because I can’t get these over my heel. I tried blocking them but it didn’t seem to change anything. Sad.
Riiiiiiip.
Oh well, on to other socks!
To go with my sock bug I have also caught the Monkey bug:
I am using some Fearless Fibers Supersock for these and I love them just as much as everyone else does. The yarn is soft, the pattern is fun and they are knitting up fast!
FO: Kew Socks

Pattern: Kew Socks from Knitty by Polly Outhwaite
Yarn: Regia Silk 4-ply
Changes: I did a picot hem instead of the garter stitch cuff in the pattern.
I really like these socks, the yarn is really soft and they are cushy and warm. Also I think they look fabulous with my crocs:
Or is that just me?

Wow…impressive. I love that cable pattern in the first picture.
I think handknit socks look great with most shoes. And the lace is lovely!
Whoa, I like that first cable pattern.
Wow, so many socks! (they’re all great) You really like the picot hem, don’t you!
It’s just you.
Kidding. Love them all!
Wow–you’ve been seriously busy in the sock department! I wish that I was so productive these days, but that little thing called a job has sure been pesky lately. sigh.
Congrats–you won some chocolate (ok, it’s not sock yarn, but chocolate’s a close second, yes?) in my 100 posts giveaway! Email me with your address at minneapolismama@gmail.com and I’ll get it in the mail to you. Feel free to let me know if you like milk/dark, nuts/no nuts.
I’ve never been to Alaska, but have always wanted to. In my work, I have some connections with department of education staff in Alaska, and I often wonder what Juneau is like.
Thanks for entering my contest!
I love all your socks. They are so beautiful!
what cable pattern are you using for that amazing first sock?
the yarn is also wonderful.
