Lauren’s Hat
Isn’t she cute?
This here baby belongs to my friend Samia and she needed a hat! The pattern is the top down Baby Bonnet from Hello Yarn. I combined a soft purple merino wool with a varigated mohair. Unfortunately, the hat dosn’t fit (darn big-headed babies), so I’m already scheming up a new idea. It will definately involve kitty ears. I like the color on her, it goes with her eyes.

oh man that is like the cutest picture ever!!! I love how she is trying to put on her too small hat. I’m sad that it didn’t fit. I think that hello yarn pattern must run a little small because mine came out too small also. Either that or there is something in these Alaskan waters that make babies heads grow to outrageous proportions.
So cute. I come from a family of big-headed babies (and adults), so I have had to learn to compensate when knitting.
