I have made a decision regarding the terrible pooling of my Sockapalooza Socks. I tried a few of the suggestions from the comments such as different needle size, pattern, number of stitches and knitting from the inside and outside of the ball simultaneously all to no avail.

I then resorted to some other suggestions from the comments specifically, “not much to do about it, try some koigu instead,” and “I like it that way.”

I ordered some Koigu (colorways 714 and 334, I’ll decide which is better for my pal when they arrive)

and I’m offering the Lorna’s Laces “Vera” up for sale. If you like the spiral the Lorna’s made in my last post it can be yours for $16 (I would also be up for a trade, maybe some semi-solid yarn?  Make an offer!). Price includes one untouched skein (I can wind it into a center pull ball if you would prefer that to a skein) and one slightly used re-wound skein. All the yarn is there and as far as wear goes the Lorna’s has held up remarkably well to being ripped + knit multiple times. It is a bit kinky but not frizzy or anything. Payment is through Pay Pal.
