Socktoberfest II

I have been knitting socks for Socktoberfest!

My goals for Socktoberfest are simple: Finish the socks I already had on the needles and use up some of my sock yarn (I don’t have that much but I also don’t knit a whole lot of socks… Ever)

Here is my progress so far:

This is my first toe-up sock! So far it is really fun, I loved the short-row toe. As you can see I was busy studying while I worked on this.

I think this was my favorite Knitty.  Lots of interesting projects for using up leftover skeins.  I have made two things from it already and I have another two projects on the needles.

Here I am working on my other Socktoberfest project: thrum sock

Okay, you caught me, this was taken back in August.  It is nice though!  And it’s the only photo I have of my sock progress.
Specs: Thrummed Socks from Fleece Artist These are really fun too, I have no idea why they still aren’t finished.

Hooray for socks!

I’ve read Into Thin Air and really enjoyed it; wish I was fit enough to climb mountains! Your sock is looking really nice. I still need to attempt knitting those…

I like the sock just the way it is. I think you could start a new fashion. The half sock. I made one once.
