Crochet-o-Saurus?
One day of blog and already I have gone over to the dark side…
The Crochet!
Today I have a lot of homework, but it is Sunday and very rainy, terrible time to try and get any homework done so I went to bother Adrienne at work (we work at the local yarn store, very convenient, perhaps a little too convenient). It all started out innocently enough… Adrienne is crocheting a lovely little purse and I was admiring it, she offered to teach me to crochet so that I could make myself a lovely little purse but recommended I start with something simpler, for example a scarf. I realized that I surely have been wanting a new scarf lately…
30 min later we have the swatch as pictured above. I am making a stripey scarf in Mango Moons recycled silk and a funky orange color of Manos.
It is all very new and exciting (and Adrienne promises that I will find it fast and gratifying as well).
